// ABOUT US //

Lovers of mountain and road. Pioneers of gravel and adventure. Counted on for cyclocross!

PDXTi was established in 2015 as a mutually beneficial relationship between the Portland-based makers of our titanium bicycles—Ti Cycles & REN Cycles—and our founding trio of veteran bike racers.

As an “R&D Test Team” we were charged with subjecting our equipment to the rigors of Pacific Northwest cycling, on a mission to prove the merits of a well design and built titanium bicycle while otherwise pursuing the development of the finest bikes and equipment package available to our riders.

Equally important, were our efforts to demonstrate as much style, authenticity, goodwill and overall leadership within our community as possible.

In the time that has passed since, it has been our pleasure to recruit an all-star lineup of Oregon-based cycling talents who have helped us contribute to the product development and marketing of several remarkable cycling products and brands…having a lot of fun, and achieving countless top race results along the way.

Our Sponsors & Partners

Ti Cycles, REN Cycles, Smith Optics, Schwalbe Tires, Eliel Cycling, HiFi Wheels, Gevenalle, TRP, Dumonde Tech and our local retailer of choice, River City Bicycles.

We are incredibly thankful.

A transplant to the Pacific Northwest who excels at going fast on a bicycle, Andrew consistently posts strong results in road, cyclocross, and mountain bike racing events.

Along with being a professional cycling coach for all racing disciplines, Andrew's non-bike interests include being outdoors, roasting coffee, and building Lego castles (though not necessarily at the same time).

Born to bike racers and raised in a bike shop, Max has a connection to two wheels woven into his DNA. After finishing on the podium at the 2017 USA Cycling Road National Championships, Max spent the month of July in Belgium sampling frites and chocolate granola and racing road bikes with the U.S. Junior National Cycling Team development program on the side. All those carbs would pay off promptly upon returning to the US when Max owned the Northwest Juniors Classic Stage Race in his age category, landing on the podium in Criterium, Road Race, Time Trial and General Classification, with an outright win in the latter two. The freshest legs on the team!

Mitch is a California native who grew up riding mountain bikes in the Sierra Nevada and has a long history of road and cyclocross racing. He once beat Mario Cippolini in a sprint finish in a Las Vegas criterium and he out-pedaled Floyd Landis in the grueling Nevada City Cycling Classic—after he “won” the Tour de France.

In his 15th season as a competitive bike racer, he says he’s determined to participate in the bicycling community as much as he can, out of habit…

“Perpetuating bicycling is one of the best things I can do with my time. Bikes make me a happier healthier human and they have the power to make the world a happier healthier place.”

Mitch gets pumped on wheelies, getting lost in the woods and coaching Portland’s first NICA team, Portland Metro Composite, which he founded in 2018.

In 2019, Mitch is most looking forward to another podium at Cyclocross Nationals.

Code Name: Monster Trux // @mdtrux

  • In Portland, Mitch is a regular podium finisher in the Elite field of the Portland Short Track series, the Portland Trophy Cup series, Grand Prix Cyclocross series and the coveted Cyclocross Crusade series. In 2018 he finished on the overall podium for each series.

  • Bronze medal finisher in the 2017 USA Cycling’s Cyclocross National Championships (35+).

  • On a mountain bike, Mitch is a Six Hours of Mt. Hood Solo Champion and a Leadville 100 “Big Belt Buckle” finisher.

  • On a road bike, Mitch is a Pro/Cat 1 finisher of Tour of The Gila, Cascade Cycling Classic and Mt Hood Cycling Classic. He won a UCI Kermesse in West Flanders, Belgium, and he was Collegiate Road National Champion (UC Davis).

  • He is also a podium finisher in Bay Area Super Prestige Cyclocross, Sacramento Cyclocross Series and Super Pro Cyclocross series events in California and MFG Cyclocross series events in Washington state.
